Testimonials

I have known Stuart Carter for about 5 years and I can sincerely vouch for his excellent character, skill at most things to do with the marine industry, good nature and his absolute honesty. I had the good fortune to sail with him on a 4500 mile passage from the Arabian Gulf to Southern France just over a year ago on this very Yacht – now renamed – and at no time was there any tension between Stuart and the rest of the crew in spite of at times bad weather and very busy shipping lanes. His navigation and watchkeeping was always precise and without errors.

I can strongly recommend him to anyone wishing a good reliable mate or Captain on any size of vessel.

Captain John R Lennie M/Y Bliss

Captain Stuart Carter assumed command of my yacht Gentle Wind during some very trying times. Under time and weather pressure, he was able to get the boat and crew organised, and delivered us all safe and sound from Rarotonga, Cook Islands, to Australia, despite several additional difficulties encountered en-route. Further, his knowledge and contacts enabled us to complete some repairs and modifications after we arrived in Australia, within budgetary and time constraints.

Stuart’s professionalism is second to none, and he treated myself, my crew, and my yacht like royalty, as though we were twice as much boat. I would not hesitate to use his services in the future.

This letter is to certify that Stuart Carter has been employed on board the 34 meter M/Y MAIFIVE as Captain for two Mediterranean summer seasons, 2007/2008. The yacht was based in Athens, Greece under private status and cruised extensively the Ionian and Aegean Islands.

I am very pleased to be recommending Captain Carter to any future employer, for throughout his period of employment with us he proved that he is a responsible professional fully committed to his work, always carrying out his duties efficiently and diligently and showing constancy of character.

Furthermore, in his capacity as Captain, Mr. Stuart Carter displayed excellent leadership skills that not only earned him the crew’s respect but also ensured a most satisfactory performance from their part.

As a personality, Captain Carter is very agreeable with a positive attitude but also firm when and where circumstances demand it.

I remain available at the following telephone number should further elaboration on the subject be required.

I wish Stuart the very best in his future endeavours.

Captain Stuart Carter has been working for us from July 1st 2014.

During this period, he watched over our Custom Line 112’next in the last stage of construction, finishing and setting up boat for cruising at the Italian shipyard in Ancona.

We then cruised for two weeks from Croatia and Montenegro, and despite several technical problems, captain Stuart did manage and organize the repairs at every marina stop, while looking after the guest at the same time, with a good spirit and efficiency. This wasn’t easy task for a first trial cruise, with 5 crew and 11 guest on board most of the time !

Captain Stuart then managed very effectively all the repairs with the shipyard during a short period of two weeks time, before cruising again with 7 guests on board.

Captain Stuart also watched over the last repairs back in La Spezia shipyard before having the boat delivered to Singapore where we cruised from towards Phuket, again with full boat of guests and some technical troubles to deal with at the same time.

Stuart has been diving with us and the guests. He is a very caring and responsible diver, making everybody very secure and comfortable ! He has also been keeping our three young kids very active in the water, participating to water sport activities with them and all guests with a lot of pleasure and lovely attitude!

Despite all challenges and quite some pressure, we beautifully reached homeland in Phuket, where Stuart finally decided to resign due to personal circumstances.

The whole family has been touched by Stuart’s kindness and caring attitude and we wish him sincerely the very best.
